I would like to take this opportunity to comment on the results of our decision to
contract the services of ADI Business Solutions.

After having run our own fiscal accountability for many years we found ourselves in a situation where we felt we could improve our educational mission by contracting out our fiscal accountability to a business that specialized and as such had the expertise to meet the demands required by the ADE. Specifically ADI supports this by:

• Working with director to prepare budgets

• Proposed and adopted

• Uploading budgets to ADE

• Preparing the AFR.

• Payables with complete monitoring and reports. including Board approval sheets.

• Grant preparation and grant management.

• Audit review/ preparation, direct onsite work with auditors during audit.

We recently went through the best audit we have had in the 14 year history of the school. Their fees are very competitive and they are served by a professional staff. It is contracting a service and knowing that this very important aspect of running a schoo. Compliance with ADE is being taken care of by these professionals who are dedicated to the specifics as they relate to education and not just accounting in general.

Working with Claudina and ADI has been such a support to the business side of ACCLAIM. It is my privilege to write a letter of recommendation or testimonial on behalf of ADI Business Solutions.  I have been associated with several local charter school boards serving as the president of the board at two schools:  Successful Beginnings Charter School and Northern Arizona Academy.  I have also served as a public school administrator retiring after thirty plus years in Arizona’s educational arena.

Successful Beginnings was a new charter school for which I helped write the charter, curriculum and policies.  The owner/director of the school was not experienced in charter school finances.  She contacted Claudina Douglas, Chief Executive Officer of ADI Business Solutions.  After meeting with Ms. Douglas, the board decided to enter into a contract with her to conduct the full financial affairs of the school.  This was one of the best decisions we made!

In fact, after watching how ADI operated with such a high level of professionalism, I suggested their services to the second school where I had served as board president for more than seven years.  This school, NAA, serves multiple campuses, has several administrators and other office personnel.  Upon seeking bids from several companies such as ADI, the board accepted the bid from ADI.  It was significantly lower and offered more services.  We were able to replace two central office staff and save the school considerable money in the process.
